    I have been seeing a couple of flashes near Limerick City about half an hour ago. The lightning bolts still off the Kerry Coast according to your favourite websites dealing with lightening.

    Here in north Kilkenny we have clear skies but the very western skies has the clouds which are so tall we can see the flashes from the west of the country.

    Very consistent flashes.

    That squall line just passed over here, outside Tralee a short while ago.
    It was pretty interesting hw inense the rain got, and how strong the wind was aswell. Also saw an lightning bolt as well pretty near to us, first one in years...

    Just spent the last hour in Tralee, staring out my 5yo daughters bedroom window cheering each flash of lightening & massive clap of thunder!
    Better entertainment than x-factor anyways!

    i tried! battery died in the slr and charger is at home. herself looking at me stupid when i said i was off to photo the lightning!
