With a body of messages to one contact open, I tapped Contacts. The Contacts in this Group appeared and I stupidly deleted the contact's name. When I searched Contacts and restored the contact to those messages, his name didn't appear at the top, only New Message. Is there no way of restoring the contacts actual name to…

With a body of messages to one contact open, I tapped Contacts. The Contacts in this Group appeared and I stupidly deleted the contact's name.

When I searched Contacts and restored the contact to those messages, his name didn't appear at the top, only New Message.

Is there no way of restoring the contacts actual name to the messages?

Also, is it possible to delete an entire set of messages to a given contact?
