    xbox drive packed in do i have to get a benq liteon drive or can i get a benq one ??

    What's your current DVD drive model? Regular Xbox or JTAG/RGH?

    You'll need to replace it with an identical drive swapping the PCB or dump the firmware of the original and flash the firmware to the replacement. Out of interest what is wrong with your curret DVD drive?

    ye im swaping the pcb tray and laser is ****ed

    No need to swap out the PCB just get a replacement laser.
