AIB to BOI/TSB online funds transfer?

    Can anyone tell me how long this should take? I was under the impression it was almost instantaneous but I put it through on Sat afternoon and the other person says they are yet to see the funds in their account - even though they were instantly debited from mine and it is not listed as a 'pending transaction'.

    The money will be in PTSB tomorrow. If you send money before your banks cut-off time on a working day (not a Saturday) then the money will be in the beneficiary account on the next working day. Cut-off time is normally around 3pm - 3.30 pm depending on the bank.

    Transfers in the UK are instant. I wonder which decade we'll get that...
