HI,  I wish to find out about recording digital TV. I have a pansonic 42 ut50b tv which allows me to record onto a HDD drive - which is receiving Saorview. I have a free to air satellite box which is receiving the rest of the channels - BBC,ITV etc.

I wish to find out as much information as possible as to the options I have when setting up a recording solution - ie being able to record free to air sat and also saorview box. What can I buy to allow me to record the satellite.

Also are there any devices available which will can be connected to the TV and will allow me to watch BBC iplayer or RTE player??

Hi Kala, thanks for the post and apologies for the delay in getting back to you.

Just to clarify, are you looking at recording Saorview and satellite onto the one box ?

Currently, there is not a box that we supply that can both record freesat and Saorview onto the one unit.

BBC Iplayer is a specific service to residents of the UK and it's region specific so customers outside the UK are unable to watch BBC Iplayer.  I'm currently not aware of any devices that currently incorporate RTE player that we would stock.

I hope this helps but let me know if I have misunderstood.
