    if you stick to any of the major brands you should be grand. Is it USB 3 you're looking for?

    Yep, USB 3.0. So you're talking WD, Transcend, Seagate.....?

    Personally I've always used WD for both internal and external drives. I've used Transcend SD HC cards and found them good. Here's two 1TB Transcends for less than €100. Shock proof too.
