Thanks guys, yeah got a fright, even if it was teeny tiny few bits of blood. Glad it was that rather than something worse. It seems fairly common, and not too serious. It's only bedrest if it happens again. Will stock up on colouring books and stickers for the smallie instead of games of chasing and hiding. Leave those to daddy for a few months.

Oh that's fab succee! A boy, aww.

I've my 20 week scan on wednesday, really looking forward to it. I'm thinking about getting a fetal doppler for some peace of mind. Anyone used one before?

Full on nesting mode is kicking in for me. I made this HUGE list of tiny things that are wrong with the house yesterday, and started into them. The Living room now looks like a tool box exploded in it.

I bought a doppler and found it easy to find the heartbeat after 14 weeks. It was fairly reassuring but once I started feeling proper regular movements at around 18 weeks, I didn't use it any more :)

Hows all doing. Im 19 weeks now and can really feel baba (my wee man) moving and kicking about.
My back is becoming a bit if a problem though so starting water aerobics next week and due in to gp during the week also so so what he reckons. In the past 2-3 months ive prob had 1 night of straight sleep. And most mornibgs it takes ages to get up and going . I cant actually walk for a few mins .
Other than that things good here. LO on the mend aftr a dose of croup and im on a weeks hols from work. Thank god. Time for some rest .
Im seriously considering starting mat leave early. I wont be returning once babas born anyway.
Im not happy in my job. Very stressed and tired and every sunday im like a demon as monday is hanging over me.
I applied for voluntary redundancy but was turned down.
Thinking of starting at the end of dec. Approx 11 weeks early . As i wont be going back anyway it just means the mat benefit will dry up sooner but we have budgeted for it .
Dont know what to do really.

I bought a ring sling to help with carrying C even running into shop for milk was driving me nuts. It's helping because I'm more balanced :) I missed carrying her too: was so used to popping her up on my back or front for walks, and not being stuck with where the buggy can go! Plus it's stopped her diving into the Freddo bars that are convieniently low in the shop ;)

Had bloods & GP this week, specialist next week and hosp week after so the madness is starting: blood pressure is low and I've lost weight so supposed to be eating more, and eating more salt... Makes me smile :)

Thats why im starting water aerobics. It was recommended to me by the woman that done my private 3d scan.
My pain is at the lower back and the left side right in to my left side of my bum and left hip .

Going to try the aerobics and see. Its pay as you go where im going so at least dont have to commit to it.

Mention the pelvic pain at next gp or hosp appointment. There is physio, but you need to get on a waiting list. I find mine is eased a little bit by sleeping with the pregnancy pillow keeping knees apart.

On first pregnancy they told me to keep knees 'glued together' when twisting pelvis to avoid making it worse. Things like twisting to get out of bed, turning on a chair, keep knees together.

Pelvic floor exercises can help too. And I think there is a support belt? Google spd belt.

Ya have the pillow .. Its sore to turn and get up .. Def going to mention to GP ... Just to nip it in the bud cause other than that I feel great !

Ah pelvic pain. My pelvic is crocked and because of this I have a bad pain on the left front. If I walk and move normal I cant walk anymore at lunch time, Went to the GP and Hospital and all, not much you can do unfortunately even the physio is not much help. Only thing is staying on the couch. I am on sick leave now since 2.5 weeks and it looks like I am not going back until baby is there. On some days I cant even walk through aldi to get the dinner :-(
But now I hear of so many cases like this, met a woman at the GP and she had it in all 4 pregnancy's, she told me to use the time and enjoy it will be the last time I have time for myself for the next 20 years , that really made my day :-)
Down-point today: Had some brownish effluent this morning like a little bit old blood. Went to the GP anyway and she said it might be nothing but have to have an eye on it. Heartbeat is fine but I am still so worried. Just hope its really nothing serious

Thanks Pwurple! Suucee you poor thing you seem to be having a right miserable time. I am trying not to complain too much about my little bits and pieces as I know so many more people are having a much much worse time of it.

I felt my first kicsk this morning!!! Twenty weeks tomorrow and woke at 630 this am and was just lying there when bam about 10 kicks. Managed to wake my husband so he felt a couple too. Its our first so it was soooo strange but fab. Our big scan is next Tuesday and then we have a wedding to go to so I need to get a dress for that too.

Really envy the people on midterm at the moment although I am waking even earlier than I need to these days thanks to someone dancing on my bladder!

Ah. Things have eased off for me a fair bit , The other night was horrible. Went for a little walk yesterday morning and just trying to take it easy. LO gone for a nap so have myself plonked on the couch for the next hour and a half (fingers crossed).
I probably over done it on Monday, OH made a start on baby room and I was helping with painting and assembling furniture.
LO's room got a few new wall stickers and curtains It was lovely to see her face. But she is obsessed with going in to the baby room and looking around.
Pwurple funny you mention dates. Im still confused. Asked the GP yesterday as on my combined care form it says EDD 15th. On my 12 week scan at near 16 weeks she estimated 23rd.
GP yesterday scanned me and said I was measuring nearly 21 weeks and he was estimating 14th.
So by my form its officially 15th . Ugh as I say confusing. Went a week over with LO so i'm veering more towards 23rd myself.
Polydactyl does first kicks really are amazing, such a lovely feeling.

Had 20 week scan today. Baby is healthy and is definitely a girl! Yay, so delighted. Sometimes it's hard not to worry going into the anomaly scan. So happy right now.

Was bleeding today again so went to the hospital. Thank god everything is fine so it was just a little from the stretching. I am so relived and baby is fine as well, its 11 oz now and was thumb-sucking :-)

Thank goodness everything is ok Siipina. You must be very relieved. Can't imagine how worrying it must be to see some blood.

My babe is 12 oz now! Imagine! Gosh can't believe it...
