Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I want to replace the taps in my mothers kitchen with lever taps as she's in a wheelchair and it would make life a bit easier for her so I'm wondering what to buy and where.

Should be able to pick up a decent lever mixer tap for €50-55 in your local hardware/building supplier. Lots of different brands out there but dearer doesn't always mean better quality!

Done exactly the same job or the Mother in law. you can get lever arm heads for kitchen taps without changing the whole Taps. It's an easy fix, cost about 30 Euro in B & Q for the pair of replacement heads.

So it doesn't have to be something that costs an arm and a leg?
There's a set in Woodies for €70 which look the part.

I did that before and the heads weren't great and my Da has a habit of over-tightening taps so they didn't last too long.
The set for €70 have disc valves (I think that's what they're called) which close to a stop which should solve that.:D
