Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Maybe he's still in disbelief that he's actually married. He could be in a daze somewhere :D

Went into a mental tailspin cleaning the house now that he has his wife living with him?

Have a mental image of Jon wearing nothing but an apron cleaning now. He can clean after me anytime ;)

Balls... never knew about that gig, and it's sold out! :(

I saw him at the Cat Laughs and while he was funny he was forgettable. Bland would be a good word for his set.

Doesn't appear to be sold out on ticket master

vegas is lol tonight. Christ, hes destroyed. One wipe, hehe.

    Carr in Disguise was good.

Rob was on fire tonight. Loved when he got the numbers round right :)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 25,005 ✭✭✭✭Toto Wolfcastle

Decent episode. I like when they actually try to play the game properly rather than trying to be funny with their answers. Johnny Vegas was great.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,648 ✭✭✭honeybear

Can't believe Rob's team won-he has really upped his game since I last saw him play.

Best episode in a long time!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 44,036 ✭✭✭✭Basq

Yep, Rob Beckett gets a lot of criticism, but he's very funny. And Vegas is gold as always.

Vic Reeves? Well, he's better than Bob Mortimer tbh!

  • Registered Users Posts: 16,305 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Prodston

Did anyone else think that Johnny might have actually attempted to eat all of it at any point? :pac:

Can't ever say I've ever had much love for Vic or Bob but Vic's song was brilliant!

Johnny Vegas is one of those shouting for comedy effect performers. I got tired of him a long time ago.

Yes it is. The reaction from Roisin when she got the numbers round was hilarious.

I went the long way round for the answer!

I don't like Rob or Roisin though

    Great episode tonight.

Sean Lock is gas. His canalaquarium was priceless.

    I miss Jon Richardson though.

The shows could have been recorded anything up to a year before being aired, and regardless of when they were recorded it's unlikely it was in the same time period. Presumably WILTY was recorded at a time Jon Richardson was available whereas Cats was probably recorded when he was on honeymoon.

I'm surprised none of them spotted FARTED in the final letters round...

    Rachel did.

Absolute rubbish tonight. Sarah fucking Millican and her squeaky tone do my head in, I was secretly hoping the python would strangle her. Liza Tarbuck literally said nothing funny all show. The Indian comedian, Romesh, is not great either.

    Worst episode yet IMO.

On the plus side....I'm winning at countdown play along.

    Romesh is brilliant live.

Definitely one of the worst episodes.

Not a great episode, but I got the Countdown Conundrum this time!!! I never get those b@starding things...

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,537 ✭✭✭KKkitty

I ended up with 32 points while I played along. I never get the numbers round. Very lukewarm show last night. It's like it never got going.

    Sarah Millican wrecks my head.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,812 ✭✭✭lertsnim

It was terrible last night but it never stood a chance with Sarah Millican, Liza Tarbuck and Phil Jupitus.

    yeah, weaker show than normal.

I didn't think Sarah Millican was too bad as a guest captain, actually. And Romesh Ranganathan was quite funny, as he usually is.
Liza Tarbuck was unfunny and irritating as hell though. And Jupitus is someone I occasionally like (in very small doses) but didn't do anything for me last night.

Joe Lycett in Dictionary Corner is always good. Pretty good episode tonight - best we've had in a fair few weeks anyway...

The site that handles audience tickets says it currently does not know when the series will return.

Jessica (despite being rubbish in the competition) was very funny. I did not like Sean bringing up the rules (very Johnesque)

Didn't think this weeks was great. Had recorded last weeks & watched both tonight. Last weeks was so much better, Joe Wilkinson as captain really worked & Joe Lycett was brilliant as usual.
