does anyone have any recommendations for 'adventure' games on the ipad.

I think i might include rpg in this as well.

these are the games I've played and enjoyed..

Dracula The Path of the Dragon
Ghost Trick

Bastion
Aralon
Ravensword
Walking dead (chapter 1)
Tintin
Infinity blade (and a couple of clones)
Year WAlk
The silent age (demo)
Knights of the Old republic

adventure games normally mean point-and-click type games.

would be two decent type games that you can get on ipad

The monkey island games are always fun. I think you can get some of the earlier Final Fantasy games on itunes too.

The Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney trilogy HD is on the iPad now, not sure how well it ported but they're Awesome on the DS.
Its like 60/40 between visual novel (60) and adventure(40). I think you can play a case or two for free to get the feel of it.
Get all of the walking dead chapters too its a very good game.

played a bit of the layton spin off that seems to be mechanically similar too
