Just wondering in this tropical weather any suggestions for café/ restaurant, with nice outdoor eating area:)

Bellissimo out in Ardkeen, beautiful outdoor roof garden area to eat in, its very nice in this weather, like eating out on the continent :-)

loads of places in city
kazbar,
munster,
tower,
so many cafes with outdoor seating, too many to mention (ber franks, john st etc etc)

This warm weather is supposed to continue to the end of the month and beyond so you'll have plenty of opportunity to try them all

Jack Meades was good last night, food an improvement on before and excellent if you have kids.

We ate in Murphys in Clournough on saturday evening, it was lovely sitting outside while the little one played on the park

Sabai Thai has a nice courtyard which seats about 20. There's a small water feature with some fish in it which keeps kids amused for a while.
