Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

iPhone 4s broken from being dropped into water. Mainboard broken according to gadget shop. Apple will fix for €211. Are there any better (cheaper but reliable) options available?

    Thanks

there's no better, they'll swap out the phone for a like new one..the €211 is more or less getting you a new phone.

Aye, that seems to be the case with Apple repairs, OP. You may even be getting an entirely new phone for the €211.

Fixed by I-electron in Cork for €67, including replacing broken component (had a dodgy power button). Second time using their services. Would recommend.
