They should have called him Max Power...

Nobody snuggles with Max Power.. you strap yourself in and feel the G's.

King Max! Well if that doesn't sound royal, I don't know what does!

Aww, there's been so many King Georges. Alexander would have been great as the first name, but maybe he'll go with that when/if he's crowned. After all, Charles won't use his first name. Not sure if the dog or the previously terrible Charles 1 and 2 (one of whom was actually executed) are the reason for that, or both.

Unfortunate choice of name for our royalist chums.

George III saw the formation of the USA with defeat in the American Revolution. :(

George V was king when the independent Irish Free State was established in 1922 and colonies became dominions.

George VI, this lads great-great grandfather and noted stutterer, reigned during the final breakup of the Empire.

That's an interesting take but I doubt it would be shared by many Britons really especially re GVI he was a popular King and guided the UK through WW2.

Also its not set in stone that a Monarch who ascends the throne uses their given name as their regal name (?). Convention allows them to choose a different one :)

    Very true.

King George VI was named Albert and known as such for most of his life.

The name Louis is, of course, a nod to his late great-great-great-uncle Louis Mountbatten, 1st Earl Mountbatten of Burma. You know, the one who was blown up by the IRA while on holiday in Co. Sligo. Great boost to the peace process that was, to be sure.

You are the type of what the age is searching for, and what it is afraid it has found. I am so glad that you have never done anything, never carved a statue, or painted a picture, or produced anything outside of yourself! Life has been your art. You have set yourself to music. Your days are your sonnets.
