Eel fishing in the lakes

    Hello,

    Is eel fishing still forbidden around the lakes? What happens if I catch one? Am I meant to cut the line and let it away with the hook?

    Eel fishing is currently banned.
    No your not meant to cut the line....
    unhook the eel and release it.
