Dublin 8 Football teams

    Hey,

    Im relatively new to the area and want to join a football team. Just wondering what teams are around? Im 26 so looking for a senior team. Pre-season is creeping up so any suggestions welcome.

    Roughly what level would you be looking at?

    Donore FC (Fatima) Leinster Senior League (LSL)
    Rialto FC (Dolphin Road) Amateur Football League.
    Transport FC (Clogher Road) (LSL)
    Crumlin Utd aren't too far away, they're just up on Kildare Road in Crumlin (LSL)
    St James's Gate play up in Iveagh Grounds on the Crumlin Road (LSL)
    St John Bosco up in Drimnagh (LSL)

    I'd be looking for a decent enough standard tbh. A team where people aren't hanging on match day......

    Well Crumlin Utd have a handful of teams in the LSL, right from the top division to a few lower ones, generally they use a few pitches but they're all a 30 min walk, 10 min bus journey (150 bus) or a 15 min cycle from Dublin 8.

    Just taken this from their Facebook page "Crumlin United senior teams pre season training starts Sunday 7th July 11am CBS Captains Road. Contact Martin 087 2710512." I know a good few of my mates who play LSL started pre-season last week so you'd want to start calling around asap.
