I serviced my focus today. Just a basic oil and filter change. I was trying to do it for the last month. But with work yesterday was the first time I had actually finished before ford parts had closed. 30% off the oil in halfords too so that was a bit of a bonus.

    Failed NCT. :(

    - Emissions at high idle
    - Battery mounting
    - Rear left tyre

2 of them are nothing, but...

A wee majestic shot of the clean GP with the new OEM wheels (only took me 9 months to find a set) before going up for sale today. Let's hope I get some biters...

Thanks. They are 3528 which is more than enough for a trunk. 5050 might be too much for confined spaces.

Changed my rear shocks which weren't too bad, but I can't tell the age of them. I gave up on the fronts as the drop link was being a bollix, but tomorrow is grinder day and need to source a new pair :).

Repaired a small tear in the bolster at the weekend, used a leather filler.
Layered it on in 5 thin layers, drying in between with a hairdryer. Could possibly do with another layer or two.

    Hopefully it holds up.

    After:

Now just to get some leather dye and it should be almost back to new:)

Removed the "upgraded" turbo intake pipe and put back on the standard one (As it can be screwed on securely). Currently trying to track down the source of a boost/air leak.

It is a sound processor, you can adjust timing, EQ etc from a PC and even create presets that you can activate from your Android phone/iPhone via bluetooth while sitting in the car.

Ah no this one is handled by the Woolite bottle cap. The airbox silencer was removed and a red bottle cap installed instead. Great sound improvement ;)
