@ Alanstrainor are they plug and play led lights or did you have to install relays etc? Car looks well.

    Cheers dude.

You can buy some like this: Linky... which are plug and play, and work/look perfect. I got mine from ebay.de, so do a search for them there. Best bet would be to bid on a few to get a good price.

Passat 1.8T B5.5 was running like a pig of late - Flat spots, and rough acceleration - A quick diagnostic pointed towards a dud pre cat O2 sensor.

Quoted from varous places, between $340 - $740NZ for BOSCH replacement :D:D Got one (BOSCH) over from the UK for £65 delivered.
Chucked n a set of plugs while in there too. Transformed !

Autosol, a microfiber, and persistence will get you there. I need some chrome tips on my own actually. Polishing bare metal is a thankless job.

Used some Autosol on my chrome door sills, which I thought were clean. The microfiber was black after I finished polishing them.

I tried cleaning and did see some result alright:

but I dont think the tips are chrome which may be the problem. It really doesnt stand out the way it is.

Maybe I just need to scrub more!

Finally got my A6 back last night.. running perfectly! :)

Oh how I missed her. Nice spin back up the M6/M4 with the stereo up, cruise control on and bathed in that nice red/white glow of the interior lighting :)

UPS tracking tells me my BT module is almost here too so next job will be to get that fitted.....

    I'm afraid to do this:o

@Pred_racer It's fairly simple there's a couple of steps to it though.

Download file number 1 online via Blue&Me insert in car, let it gather data.

Download file number 2, run it, pop usb back in car and it will update.

Detailed info and exact steps on the site but it's handy, should only take 15 minutes

Currently testing this out on my car for a friend, a small modification to the boot lifting system which allows the boot to fully open once it's released from the latch by either the key fob or handle.

I know it's a bit late now but a top tip for painting calipers is to use brush on paint. It saves you ages in masking up;)
