Isn't the badge on the back of a colt just a sticker?

Or have you a Citroen too?

I used to have a Citroen.

But yeah, the badges on the back of the Colt are stickers, leaving behind pretty much the same adhesive as the plasticy chrome badges. Debadging the front will involve a little more work. :)

never understood the point in debadging. At best it looks as if you are embarassed about the size of the engine stated on the boot or at worst, looks like the car has been damaged and resprayed at that area

    We de-badged a Citroen recently:

I did the same on my last car (Octavia). The new badges are much smarter and modern looking.

Nice, these little things really spruce up a cars appearance. Where did you pick up the new badges?

Online shop in Czech, much cheaper than local.

Interesting badge swapping. At least it's not putting RS4 badges on a TDI A4 or something similar. :P

So I finally got to putting my new alloys on :D also had the tracking done and balanced the wheels, apparently the steering was so bad the guy gave me a sheet

    And here is said sheet

    ?ui=2&ik=a47aae19d1&view=fimg&th=144c06c4ae250d1d&attid=0.1&disp=inline&safe=1&attbid=ANGjdJ_An2DQ-KYRHC5rnaRY1wSi5zDzN4iR6r0yshWp0iSErMTWAyiHE6XgAvq1I_aSp4XW4ZJf2JTqkzSJBqq54tlAhTv9lIOzClY3WlRNU9LbVtESs0iQE14uj20&ats=1394815603773&rm=144c06c4ae250d1d&zw&sz=w1808-h808

And some during and after shots

    The tracking

    And after

So what ye think? Yay? Nay? I still have the old ones so if i don't like em anymore just do an old switcharoo ;)

The Focus lights look good. Are they any different than the original ones apart from the fact the inside of it is black?

Nope, they're the exact same except for the colour.

I got a set for my focus and fitted the clear indicator lense, it really freshens them up. Although it means cutting a square out of the rear to fit them. http://www.focusclearlens.com/

new alloys makes the saab look a lot less dated. looks quite good now

Lovely alloys but prefer the 3 spoke myself.

    Either is nice though!

Love the new alloys miles better than the 3 spoke imo.

Seeing as were on page 166 lets have an update on some Alfa.... 156's :pac:

However, said 166 got a few parts recently such as indicators, a caliper and a tail light which I have to fit someday soon :)

Back to me main 156. Converting the boot lock to the non laser cut/single sided key tumbler. We need one first, like this one
    Image1196.jpg

Whip out the grinder, in with the desired key and grind the tumblers off
    Image1198.jpg

This bugger is an absolute arseface to get at. It holds the tumbler in position for operating the lock etc
    Image1199.jpg

Time to cobble up a precision tool to extract that clip
    Image1200.jpg

My new lock works beautifully. Yaaay :):)

Rest of my time spent shredding a 156 so meh, however what lurks beneath often has me asking how these things were on the road....
    Image1201.jpg

That's the drivers footwell btw
