    Hi folks,

    Dublin based friend looking to change from an expensive emobile plan that has run its contract.. currently paying something like 45 euro for 400 minutes, 400 texts and 2gb data.. would want something simillar so was looking at the deal on meteor

    Free Meteor calls & texts.


    Anything better out there?

    Your friend could pay a lot less without any contract.

    The nearest plan 48 Months offers is The Guido plan. It's 300 mobile minutes (plus 60 mins landlines), unlimited texts and 1Gb of data for €10 a month. An extra 1Gb of data is €3. So at €13 that's almost half the price: http://48months.ie/deal

    Plus its ideal for someone not accustomed to Prepay. The 48 Months service can be bought in advance, for up to 6 or 12 months, avoiding the need to topup every month.

    Three do a SIM card with unlimited calls, unlimited texts and unlimited data. Not sure what they charge consumers but their business SIM is only €20 + vat.
