Possible Blackberry Z10 Firesale to come?

I realise that this is on Contract and in America, and early days (I may be jumping the gun), But i hope it will come over here. If Blackberry sales (Z10 in particular) are as slow as they say, then surely it would be expected that they will drop over here?
I haven't had any hands on with them, but i'd buy it definitely if it dropped equally low over here.
Maybe the contracts are the first sign of a firesale?

"Now is the right time to adjust the price," a BlackBerry spokesperson told the Wall Street Journal. "It's part of life cycle management to tier the pricing for current devices to make room for the next ones." In other words, BlackBerry needs to move its existing stock before it can sell the public on a second-generation device. Either way, the Z10 is a steal at $49 -- unless you're in one of the regions that's simply giving them away.

I don't think any one is expecting a $50 BlackBerry but you may get a reduced price sim free phone

It has been reduced to £289/£285 on amazon uk at the minute. Not quite firesale prices.
£289 = €334 With Free Shipping.
£285 = €330 I didn't check the shipping.
A great price, but i'm guessing it may come down a little more.
I suppose it all depends on how many people will snap it up at that price.

At current prices this is a great deal. Not too popular here in Ireland though. Anyone looking at getting a new phone should definitely check it out. I've had it for 3 months and just loving it.

Excellent device. Picked one up on Amazon about two weeks after launch. Purchasing sim free is the way to go.
