This may be of interest to teachers out there:

The IT in Tralee is running a digital media course (for education) starting in September 2013. It has six modules (including claymation, illustration, digital photography, using social media, multimedia and media graphics) but teachers can take the modules separately and it will run at evenings and weekends.

The course just became available as part of Springboard so teachers who are unemployed can take it for free. It's called Certificate in Digital Media for Education. The contact person at the IT is Mary 066 7191701.

I have nothing to do with the IT just think this looks like a good course that people would want to know about.
