Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'd say any repairs on these hand held scanners will be more expensive than a brand new device. If I were you, I'd open up that thing my self to check for a dry/faulty/cold solder, see if there's any swollen capacitors or anything else that looks damaged. Ideally it's something trivial and can easily be fixed by yourself. Nice project to learn how stuff works.

If you don't feel like doing anything yourself, these guys seem to know their way around PCB's - http://thehifihospital.com/ I haven't used them, I usually try to fix things myself

I wonder if your device has been exposed to any liquids or hard impacts?

    Hi
All the ETACS Mobiles are gone now - no more 088
Currently mobiles use GSM which is a digital transmission with some encryption.
    Not resolvable with a scanner
