Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    In Cavan they're no 1.

Cavan are the best team in Cavan? Are they really that good? Could they beat themselves? I suppose they have on a few occasions.

Its a tough question, but on todays evidence, they'd shade it..........

Jesus lads. Have I to point it out again. Seanie has no decision to regret.

Even if he wasn't playing for Kildare he wouldn't be involved with this Cavan panel.

He was dropped from it. I wish people would realise that.

He engineered the move to Kildare AFTER Cavan dropped him from the panel.

    Ring, ring, ring, ring.

    "Hello?"

"Hello. Is that the Cavan county board secretary?"

    "Yes. Can I help you?"

"Maybe. Eh, it's, eh, Seanie Johnston here."
    :)

Get real. I've never seen such odds for any provincial final.

Great save! What a second half, as Marty himself said it's like a different team altogether!

What was Bolton st was always going to give away a penalty if he had of been braver and dived hands first

If Kildare get through here I can see the machine starting up in Kildare again.

Centre forward having a mare for Kildare

Yes, and the engine will probably conk out the next day.

And again 3 balls in a row lost

Depending on who they get after Meath they could rape someone in the next round. I then imagine the vehicle will come to a stop.

As a Meath man, I'm not exactly quaking in my boots at the prospect of facing either of these teams.

I think it's fair. The chap was more interested in pulling at fellas all night. He was let off a few times.

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 11,441 Mod ✭✭✭✭Hammer Archer

Probably should have gotten a red earlier but thought that was a harsh second yellow. Tyrone player seemed to be the one to push him.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,733 ✭✭✭Duckworth_Luas

Red card? FFS! That wasn't even a free in!

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,837 ✭✭✭intellectual dosser

I told myself in the first half that the Kildare No. 3 wouldn't finish the game. It's a shame because he's really had a grip on O'Neill in the second half.

A grip of his jersey alright!

I think this geezer has been put out to rot by the boys tonight. They've also dampened a few of the myths surrounding themselves as well.

Tyrone didn't crumble but that's exactly what kildare do.

Any other time of the game and that would've been a quality point from the sideline. Completely brainless point though.

Cork would beat either of them. We will give Galway a hiding in the wide open spaces of croker

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,001 ✭✭✭✭Flukey

Typical Kildare. If he tried 100 times to put that ball over the bar, he would not have got close. Then when they try to miss, they score. Next season they should adopt a new tactic of trying to hit as many wides as possible. They'll outscore every team in the country.

I'd advise against Cork fans attending the Galway match (not that they attend football matches anyways) as Galway will surrender during the week.

They're talking about big parties in galway. These lads need to get a hold of themselves, stay off the beer, they haven't achieved anything yet.
