    Ludicrous BBC hype re Westwood.

A serial choker who's bleeding like a pig out there yet they'd have you believe that we're watching a Young Tom Morris/Tony Jacklin/Nick Faldo super hybrid.

The guy's short game and putting just aren't up to it.

Not sure what you're watching but its his long game that is costing him today imo

Approach play has certanly been off, but Westwoods has been pretty sharp on the greens today overall. He just keeps leaving himself to much to do.

Huge man love for Phil here. No complaints from me if he closes the deal.

Shocking putt on 14 just there but broadly speaking you're right.

My point is that he's a poor chipper and a poor putter and that guys like that tend to struggle.

If ever Westwood needed to get a putt to the hole. Can't see him getting 2 birdies to tie.

    That'll do it.

  • Registered Users Posts: 835 ✭✭✭kingcobra

And then in comparison to Westwood, Tiger is putting absolutely abysmally!

  • Registered Users Posts: 680 ✭✭✭A.Partridge

Now Scott's race is almost run.

Just as well after listening to that drivel about the others screwing up on purpose to give Phil a leg up.
