    Just heard there was a guy shot dead in Kilmainham or Inchicore today. Shocking stuff especially considering it was in broad daylight..

    "Gardaí are investigating after a man was found in Dublin this morning with apparent gunshot wounds.
    The man was discovered shortly before 10.30am this morning in an open area at Grand Canal View, Kilmainham (known locally as Dry Canal Bed) near Suir Road / Davitt Road Inchicore.
    The man's condition is not known and emergency services are currently at the scene.
    A car was found burnt out a short distance away in Rialto Court.
    Gardaí are appealing for anyone who was in the area of Dry Canal Bed and Rialto Court between 10am and 11am this morning to contact the incident room at Kilmainham 01-6669700, the Garda Confidential Line 1-800-666-111 or any Garda Station.
    Gardaí are also particularly anxious to speak to anyone who was on the Luas Tram at the time or who were in the vicinity of the Luas stops at Fatima or Suir Road."
