Ok fellas, have done the sums and prize pool is as follows -

30 euro monthly prizes for Aug / Sep ( combined ), Oct, Nov, Dec, Jan, Feb, Mar and then Apr / May ( combined )

Highest weekly score of the season gets 50

Overall winner 700
Overall second 300
Overall third 150
Overall fourth 90
Overall fifth 60

Hope this is agreeable to al.

A pleasant surprise to be here for now given the impressive overall ranks from previous seasons of a lot of the members in the league.

It's very difficult to be in the top few thousand after the first few weeks, there's a huge amount of luck involved. I've finished in the top 10k the last two seasons but usually don't get there until after Christmas. I'm glad no-one is that far ahead yet!

I am down the table, somewhere between 30th and 40th, probably gonna continue dropping.

I was 8 points off having the top score in Feb - congrats Joe Tomkins/Shane Duignan. Unsure how the winner is chosen if its a tie?

Somehow I've crept up to 4th in this league with a decent gap between the top 4 and 5th. Time to kick on and try to win it, 28 points off the top. Guy in first may struggle a bit over the next few weeks with Jordan Ibe in his team! Guy in 2nd's team is only worth £107.5 so I'm hopefully my extra team value will get me past him eventually. He also may struggle with Ward-Prowse and Whittaker not getting gametime. Guy in 3rd has a decent team. Very different to mine with Paulinho, Mirallas etc.

Top 5 paid but only money worth winning is top 2 really.

115 should win it. DOuble GW's are only big scores someone bangs in a few goals and a lot had him as captain. The form Sturridge (and Suarez) have been in it's likely we could see a big week.

Have my mates only league wrapped up so took a punt on Benteke this week to close in on some of the other leagues.

Narrowed the gap to 17, although surprisingly enough I've been overtaken to go down to third! And the guy who went past me has an almost identical team! He has 9 players the same including captain but went past me as he only took a -8 hit to my -12. Leaves me 2 points behind with my Mata vs his Mirallas + Sissoko. Hopefully he doesn't extend his lead by too much. The guy in 1st only has 9 DGW'ers left, 8 if Gerrard gets dropped. Getting very tight!

It's already been beaten this week by this lad! He's fewer DGW players than some others who aren't too far off it. Looks like it'll be a monster score to win it.

I'm presuming that my 175 that I scored last week is the highest GW score of the season. I had a look through the league and nobody beat it.

Despite having a shocker of a week I've still held on to 3rd spot - only 28 points off the leader. The big gap between 3rd and the rest has been closed though. A solid week from Silva and clean sheets from Skrtel and Ward should make me up some ground. Suarez, Sturridge, Lukaku, Coleman, Hazard and Yaya are in every team in the top 5... need to look at differentials!
