As the title suggests, and I'd collect from the Belfast shop.

Any suggested alternatives at roughly the same price point which you would consider a better purchase? I would be using the TV for Sky and PS3 running through an Onkyo AV unit, reports of high input lag in some reviews are a bit concerning. Would a smaller screen size be better?

I'm upgrading from a 42" Plasma so looking for a screen of 46"+

    Thanks
    Noel

    Butcher,

many thanks for the post and apologies for the delay getting back to you.

We have the 55LA690 available from our main Manchester warehouse so you can have delivery in about 2/3 days max - its currently £1299 / €1569.99 and delivery would be approx. £39.

If it was me and I was looking for a quality large screen - I'd go for the Panasonic TXL55ET60 - it's the same price at £1279 / €1549 (with a 5 year warranty and also includes a DMPBDT130 Bluray at this price - again delivery would be approx. £35-39 - It's a completely beautiful TV and it has Panasonic's 600Hz Motion processing against the 400Hz on the LG - altogether I'd far rather the Pana personally ( actually I'd like either of them!!!:p )

    Keep us posted..
