    Hi,
I am looking at renting some property space in a new health centre in an average area. The rent is charged on a square metre basis plus you pay toward utilities and rates apportioned.
The rent seems high to me. Can anyone suggest what one would normally pay for this sort of property to rent?
    With thanks in advance

you'd need to give a bit more detail, where is it located, what rent are they looking for per sqm? for a start

    Thanks Nuttzz,

This is located in an average part of the south Dublin within the canal area. I need to be private so will need to leave location at that.
They are looking at €40 per square foot/ year.
This seems high to me but I know nothing on this so was looking for guidance.

Smaller unit sizes in specialist type buildings do cost more!! To fiind out whether it is expensive or not for the sector look at other other locations in the same general sector to see how competitive the rent is.
Assuming the idea of being in the same building as these specialities has a knock on benefit to your business, this may be more important that the headline rent. The bottom line is, does it make good business sense and can you afford it!!
