Cause of causes - 8-1 in the beginners chase this evening ridiculous. Bearing in mind it's now a McManus horse hard to know whether he'll run to his merits. Fancy jamsie hall in the handicap hurdle also

Big time. The real article is a good horse also if they figured out how to ride him.
Steps to freedom was in the same rating range as cause of causes no reason why steps to freedom is evens and coc ;-) is 8-1 only worry is the Elliot/McManus factor. Can't see any damage from his winning this evening though. Should get him up to a rating to get into a decent UK handicap

How could they price one of Aidan's at that in that race.

Ste wouldn't be surprised if he was kept for a nice handicap

Oscar where did you see 9s sometimes one firm prices it up totally wrong for a mind but the likes of oddschecker would still show as a gamble, find it hard to believe he would have been widely available st that price

    7.55 Worcester

    Saga De Tercey 8/1

This is about as poor a contest as you are likely to see and if the application of a first time visor (replacing blinkers) can rejuvenate Donald McCain's 8 year old then Saga De Tercey could win this comfortably under top weight off a mark of 95. A winner of 3 Novice Hurdles in spring 2012 which earned him a rating of 125 (final start he gave 12lb to a horse now rated 114), Saga De Tercey has been very poor in his 8 starts over hurdles to date but he has fallen a massive 30lb to a mark of 95 now which allows him to drop back into this extremely poor selling handicap hurdle. Moreover, he did run his best race in a long time 2 starts back off a 10lb higher mark (unsuited by soft ground LTO) and it looks significant that stable jockey Jason Maguire is back in the saddle for the first time since November last year. Although a mark of 125 was probably slightly high, judged on his 3 Novice Hurdle wins last year he definitely has more than enough ability to win off a mark of 95 and this will probably be the easiest opportunity he'll get. Donald McCain has a good record at the track and in Selling races and if the first time visor adds that little extra spark then he could rout this field. However, given his regressive looking profile you can't have more than a small bet on him but hopefully he can land the spoils at 8/1.

In the 8.20 my money's on jamsie hall. However, eagles pass is one to back in the ew market at 40's...zero money coming for him but he likes the course (won over fences and run some reasonable races over hurdles in Killarney) and runs very well in today's conditions.
At his age of 11, I can't imagine connections will want to pass up
The opportunity on giving the horse every chance on winning a race at a course which he is proven over. 40-1 is tasty

O'Brien's won that maiden 5 years out of the last 6.

Ricks like that are what happens when bookies simply shut winning accounts rather than employ people who actually have a clue in the first place

Saga De Tercey seems to have fallen completely out of love with the game.

Any word on Pat Garrett in the 7.15? Really was a horrible fall and it didn't look good for him.

Looks that way alright urban. He'd have to have a decent enough rating though wouldn't he to get into the big handicaps, that's why I was expecting a bit of a run?

Will need three runs in chases how many has he had? A horse with that high a hurdle rating will be given a high enough rating even if he shows nothing as caution

Has had 2 now. Thought hed want to get up to 130's at least to get into a solid handicap. He's definitely a G2 horse no doubt.
