    Hi BOI,

Due to recent moves (new baby etc.), it looks like we may have inadvertently shredded our cheque book.

How long does it take to get a new cheque book issued and what costs are involved?

    Thanks,
    Quad

    Hi quad_red,

    Thanks for posting.

It takes 3 - 5 working days to receive a cheque book.

There is no Bank of Ireland charge to order a new cheque book however the Govt. Stamp Duty remains the same and this is €0.50c per cheque. We have a new Fee Structure beginning on Aug 19th. Details on this can be found here

    If you call Banking 365 on 0818 365 365 / 00 353 1 4044000 a representative will offer assistance with the request.
Representative assisted hours are 8am - 12midnight Mon - Fri and 9am - 6pm Sat, Sun and holidays.

    Thanks

    Billy
