Adidas or Nike?

I'm in the market for a pair of shoes to run in. Knowing nothing about running I've had the gait analysis done and I need stability shoes.

The ones recommended were Adidas Response Stability 5. Very nice shoe at €105 in the shop and €66 online. I've also an option on Nike Lunar Glide about €70 but from a shop. Anyone got an opinion on either of these? Or suggestion for similar? I'd rather buy from a shop than have to wait or miss deliveries, I'm in a hurry to get going!

Also what's peoples opinions on going a half size bigger? Guy in the "specialist" running shop was trying to sell me a 10. I've an option on the same shoe in 10.5.

My regular shoes and my cycling shoes are 10's and 11's depending varying. Is half a size bigger going to cut the feet off me?

    Thanks.

Not sure where you got your gait analysis done but last year i booked in with Amphibian King in Ballymount and had the gait analysis done and bought runners at the same time. I though the guy who looked after me in amphibian king was excellent. He must have spent 20 mins with me, trying on at least 15 different pairs of runners of all brands once he knew what type of runner I needed. I needed a stability shoe also, but it's amazing how the different brands feel when you actually wear them. They have a short track in the shop where you can run over and back to get the feel for the runners.

Go for the pair that is most comfortable, likewise with size.

I just had a gait analysis done in AmphibianKing in bray a couple of days ago.
I was in the Adidas Response Stability 5 (As recommended by Elverys)
The guy in AK checked those shoes and they were actually a decent option for me. (So my assumption that they were causing me my recent spate of niggles was wrong.)
I've now moved over to New Balance Stabilicore.... 2 runs in and they are altogether a MUCH more comfortable shoe. The Adidas is very rigid I find.
    Explore your options.

Ended up with Sketchers. Adidas Response were too tight. Couldn't find Nike in my size. Very comfortable shoe ho problems yet apart from very sore legs.
