Good pick for Boston. 18 year old, bags of potential, Real talented versatile player

Boston have done well. Smart and Young

Suns probably take Ennis to back up Dragic or take the best on the board in Garry Harris

Bulls trade doesn't look so hot right now Could have had Harris at 19. Now they probably pick him for Denver

Two good pick ups for Denver.

Raptors will surely take Napier here next.

Quote of the draft. "He's 2 years away from being 2 years away"

The NBA and Adam Silver have offered Isaiah Austin a job in the league once he earns his college degree. So much respect right there.

    Respect.

    McGary to OKC.

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 3,267 ✭✭✭Dublin Red Devil

Wow McGary got picked in the first round. If he recovers from injury he can be a good piece in OKC

    Wonder where Hairston falls.

  • Site Banned Posts: 26,456 ✭✭✭✭Nuri Sahin

If Napier falls past 25, I'm yelling rig.

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 3,267 ✭✭✭Dublin Red Devil

Adams, Wow I was thinking late 2nd at best. Hood,Napier, Anderson all still up there.

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 3,267 ✭✭✭Dublin Red Devil

Good pick up by Utah. Hood went later than he should have, he has potential.

Delighted to see Charlotte get Napier!

    edit -
@ESPNSteinLine: Miami Heat is trading for Shabazz Napier, ESPN has learned
    Trade:
    To Miami: Shabazz Napier
To Charlotte: No. 26, No. 55 and a future 2nd-round pick.

    FFS.

Yeah, Suck it Lebron. No Shabazz for the heat

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 3,267 ✭✭✭Dublin Red Devil

    Shabazz to Miami.

So Lebron is staying I guess

What's LeBron's obsession with Napier about, by the way? If he thinks he's going to come in and be a difference maker straight away for the Heat then he's likely to be disappointed, I'd imagine. Not many late round PG's do.

pretty happy with the celtics haul although i don't know what rondo was talking about when he said "expect fireworks" unless there more yet to come if we can resign avery to a 5-6 mil a year contract we could have a very dangerous guard rotation in a year or twos time.

All the reports are that the Knicks picks were fairly decent. What should be expected from Cleanthony Early?

  • Registered Users Posts: 28,710 ✭✭✭✭Paully D

Catching up on the rest of the picks now as I fell asleep after the Heat's pick last night.

Bulls take Australian PF Cameron Bairstow, a team-mate of Tony Snell's at New Mexico, in the 2nd round. I know precisely nothing about him, but he averaged 20.4 and 7.4 last season. He'll probably turn out to be rubbish with Thibs never trusting him enough anyway :pac:

Early it a good pick up by the kicks. A 6'8 215lb SF. I thought he would go in the late 1st round. He was a star player on Wichita State's impressive NCAA run last season. His allround game improved allot these last two years, The lad is 23 years old, A late bloomer but could be a useful piece for New York.

NY also have the Greek Freak 2.0 in Thanasis Antetokounmpo. Supreme athlete built for the game

The 76ers did very well picking up Jerami Grant with the 39th pick. Untill The Orange went out of the NCAA tournament early, He was mock drafted by many in the Lottery
