    Hi,
    I'm living in Portlaoise with my partner but I moved from Carlow and aside from his family I don't know anyone here!
    Can anyone suggest any groups/clubs/classes where i could meet people?
    I'm 25 and a musician. I love reading, cycling (a new hobby) and I love anything animal related. Never been good at meeting people in pubs/clubs - to be honest I love my rock but I'm not a heavy drinker. All suggestions welcome.

    Laois Cycling and Touring club have two club spins on Sunday morning. Meet at midway at 8:45 for 9:00 am departure, two routes available, beginners and advanced. You can find the routes on our Facebook page

    Might just give that a go when I'm fit enough!! Struggling to find a way of making friends over here so I may join some clubs and groups to meet people. Not an easy place to make friends so far!!
