    A trial like this could never give us the nationwide picture .

    There is only one option , and that is to abolish all 1c and 2c immediately .

    If there is only one option then I opt to not take that option...

    ...or is that not an option ?

    Well I think it would make sense to get rid of the cents .

    Others think its nonsense to try and live in a world of non-cents

    Realistically, how many transactions do we do in an average day? I'm talking about going to the shops to get the milk and bread, perhaps getting a sandwich at lunch, putting petrol in the car, getting a pint etc Would it be 5???

    If every 'greedy' shopkeeper did us out of an average of 3 cent a transaction, that's 15c a day or around €1 a week. How any of us thrown at least that amount of coppers in to a bowl every week anyway?

    Stupid coins and no need for them
