can hairdesser dye over this

Hi , OK about 6 months I got my hair light end and colour to a real dark blonde very light brown , my natural hair is almost black. So now my hair is gone into a ginger colour with parts of the blonde still in it, I want to get it coloured like a bit lighter this time but I'm not goin back to the hairdresser that done it before as she made a total mess of the cut and now my hair is ginger. Will it be much of a job to get it to the colour I want or will it turn orange? And any one good hairdressers around roscommon or even galway city Thanks

If you buy a toner in Boots and put it on your hair it will take a lot of the orange and yellow tones out of it. If its a case where the hairdresser just put a bit of bleach on black hair, then another trip to the hair dressers should fully lighten it to blonde.
