Seems like Joe doesn't do apologies until told to by Legal....and even at that they get someone from Continuity to read it out before the Show starts.

In Marie's instance, and as said earlier, probably sometime in 2014 (and when D'Omen in in the hot seat)

    Sweet christ.

Brek on a gold medal bandwagon....memories of World Cups past flooding in, the bad ones (Brek in a Florida bedroom with ninety Irish football fans and berating to the late GR that not one of them had made a move on her :) )

Joe is a clown. Imagine if he was presenting the news?

I could, but The Dear Leader would insist his Great Socialist newsreader shaved first.

I fear it is Butters, still have the nightmare vision of it from USA'94 stuck in my head.

Can only imagine what anyone who was sober in the room itself experienced :D

Great show today, Duffy was showing his agenda by trying to stir up a row over the eulogy yet at no point read out the policy to clarify the reason behind why the policy was changed in the first place, ignorance makes good radio it seems. Loved Marie, tore into him and took none of his "what I seen on CNN" crap.

    +1

It's hard to figure out what she meant about 20 people being killed last week in the six counties. That would have been worldwide news even at the height of the 'troubles'.

There must be something missing here!

Joe explained that after, it was that The families of 20 people killed by soldiers during the Troubles are suing Northern Ireland's chief constable. Its understandable how that could be truncated and misunderstood. Calling Marie deluded was a low blow.

    aha, ok so.

He was starting to lose it today. She really put him back in his box, fair play to her.

Deluded = A socialist who thinks it's acceptable to take twelve times the average industrial wage from the public purse to present a two hour radio show..

Think you're deluded JA if you think Joe would do 2 hours! :)

Well I was including 45 minutes for him to work out what HE wants to talk about, and to collate all the phone numbers of all the people HE wants to bring on.. ;)

I didn't hear that bit live but it was edited in some parts. There was an obvious cut and it came back in at her saying, 'thanks for calling me deluded!' then on to Joe trying to put words in the other guys mouth.

Joe to researcher, "Why the fu*k didn't you have a look at this ones blog before you let her on air?"

He was well out of his depth today. Once Marie started throwing facts and figures at him he decides to ask her "How long have you lived in Egypt?"

Change the subject and go back to the fluffy stuff.

    Anyone catch the promo?

Leaving Certs on the batter? Egypt (lol!)? Legalisation of Marijuana?

    Or Coddle Talk?

In fairness, given Joe's techno-wizardry I'd imagine he (and I'd assume we can add his researchers to that) doesn't even know what a blog is. He can barely manage an "ATM-Machine" and is still fascinated by "The RTE Real Player"

He's somewhat fawning over Marie now without uttering an apology of course.

Duffy spent the morning selecting pro Muslim Brotherhood callers so he can back up his deluded statement yesterday.

Joe's not even interested but he will run with this until he proves Marie wrong...or at least wrong in his own head.

    He sounds native. Not.

I would really like to know why Joe is carrying the can for the Muslim Brotherhood when they're terrorising the whole country.

He must have spent the last 24 hours rounding up people to refute Marie from yesterday.
