"Who stole it so to speak".

What the hell do the last 3 words in that sentence have anything to do with the question?

You would need a white hiace van to steal that.

Not the worst public art I seen, I have to admit.

Looking at what it was like, I can see why the artist is pissed off. It's like giving a neglectful and destructive child one of your favourite cameras, or something.

Be funnier if a traveller lad was to call door to door trying to sell "Grainne Og" a 14ft sculpture saying "honestly boss be de grace of god I made it meself"

Wall with two wooden seats? Hardly a 'work of art'?

    Jesus .

An yer man's right , looking at it id think it came from IKEA .

White hiace vans should be Joe new headshops, 99% of Irish crime is caused by white Hiace vans from attempted child abduction to lead from roofs. Fact!

"Handcarved ? " No Joe, with a robot.
"How much writing is on it ? I can see it " So why did you bloody ask ?

There's no faux outrage like a Joe faux outrage.

I think you'd find the response would be:
Bad line, bad line. Back after these!

That is quite an attractive piece of work.

The only vandalism I see are those poxy bollards in front of it.

This artist has every reason to be pissed off.

Is this the 4th day where we have a Dublin related story again that no one has a bean about and cares less.

Really would love to know the agenda of LiveLine. Its gone so Dublin centric its as boring as sh!!!!!. I dont want to sound like an anti-Dublin person, but would we have a story like this if it happened in Co Clare?

I nearly bought one of those - seriously tempted by the thought that, no matter what I got up to with it, I wouldn't get the blame. :)

I think Emperor Duffy is angling for these to be the new thrones in Casa Duffy in Clontarf.

The artist has every right to be pissed off, and he should go and get something done. Ringing joe duffy results in nothing happening. People moan and say "isnt it terrible Joe" but he doesnt do anything.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 231 ✭✭turtleshead

Ah there is his angle, he is looking for work!

  • Registered Users Posts: 543 ✭✭✭CorsendonkX

Didn't he already tell Joe he did the carving, it's pretty obvious that Duffy doesn't listen to half the conversation.

Slag Dublin again you anti-jackeen or else I'll ring in to complain about the Cliffs of Moher visitors centre, I'm sure Joe would only love to dedicate several days to this, for the umpteenth time.
