    This is a bit of a non-topic isn't it?

Spare a thought for Joe, who will have a reduction in the decibel level when the three twins all leaving next year... I spose he'll probably get them all in to RTE anyway..
Surely they'll go to tv3

My son is far too good for 4th year Joe.

Surely the boy knew that the school had transition year years ago?

    Just in the door.

Sounds like PBH in the chair !

    Good stuff.

Did Joe get the bullet ?

More likely 3 weeks in Oz to visit the twins. claim research expenses or 3 weeks busy making a tv show on Jim Larkin and the various celebrations of 1913.

In fairness, I thought transition year was a complete waste of a year.

And what will he do when he leaves home?

I bet she's a single parent. Another mammy who thinks her son son is the most precious thing on the planet.

I can empathize with this child as I would have hated TY but I wouldn't have gone to a school with a compulsory TY either.

My friend went to college when she was 17. She wasn't 18 until the following Feb - nightmare for getting into pubs!

It wouldn't really make a difference if he's a genius, doing fifth year a year later.

    Non story.

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 18,184 ✭✭✭✭Lapin

Get the precious little snot off to school and lees guff out of him.

If he's good enough for 5th year now he'll still be good enough next year.

    Spoilt little git.

Jesus parents are the most deluded... I was fixing a PC for a guy last week for a guy and he says to me

"Oh, my son.. super intelligent.. he walked in to the shed and came out with a laptop"

Pity he wasnt intelligent enough to remove all the porn / spyware / viruses he downloaded on to the family PC himself or it could have saved me an hour listening to how great he was..

Michelle's sole purpose for calling Liveline today was to brag about her magnificent fabulous son.
