    Ahhhh.. I remember one day when somebody mistook Bang Bang for an armed robber... "Bang, bang" says Bang Bang, then "Bang" somebody banged Bang Bang in the jaw.... After everything had been explained, and all issues had been resolved, didnt we make a sight laughing arm in arm as we went down to Mother D'Arcy's house for a bowl of steaming hot coddle..

    How come they don't get someone from St Michael's or Sunbeam Hse on the phone and ask them how much money they are getting and what they are doing with it. I know for a fact that St Michael's get a grant of around €70 million from the HSE and more from fundraising. They need to publish a breakdown of where they spend it!

    I agree wholeheartedly that the cuts to services to these people while paying gilt-edged pensions to all and sundry is completely disgraceful.

    But I wish that woman the best of luck with her plan to get cuts not just stopped, but reversed.

    Thers so many most vulnerablein society im loosing tack of the amount of "most vulnerable" groups. Teachers, nursers, doctors, social welfare recipients, single mothers and radio presenters.

    This group are the genuine most vulnerable they cant do an awful lot for themselves on a day to day basis while the others are only down a few quid and can wipe their own arses

    OMG, why did I inflict that on myself? It really has to be one of the worst ever shows. Is there a worse broadcaster on RTE than Philip Boucher-Hayes - such an excruciating bore. A voice made for silent radio and as for the pompous interview technique....

    The picture I saw was a bit different, but the question remains, why is Miriam behind Joe. Surely, as an attractive woman on the telly, Miriam is more the face of RTE than Joe a radio presenter?

    Also, why is broadsheet.ie using wordpress for its website?
