Fair play to PBH. He managed to cram a 10 minute item into 75 minutes. Joe would be proud!

Surely she does have an income. Social welfare, Children's allowance.

    Doesn't sound like good advice.

One Parent Family Payment for someone with six eligible sprogs comes to about €368 per week (€1600 p/m). Add child benefit of €900 a month and you're sucking diesel.

And she may also be eligible for the household benefits package.

In fairness I'm not saying that she's on the pig's back with welfare payments but just that surely they are income and would be seen as such by the bank so don't see how being unemployed would mean she couldn't engage in the PIP process.

I can sleep easier in my bed tonight, knowing that the Eurovision venue for 2014 has been announced.

Missed the promo but lets hope its not junior doctors today

    PBH just tweeted:
On de #Liveline - why haven't Dubs come up with a hilarious nickname for the Rosie Hackett bridge yet?

I wonder whose choice was it to stick on the one subject for all of yesterday?

Its easy to assume the presenter rules the roost, but there is actually a production team behind the scenes. If they have strict instructions from Joe as to what they can and can not do, PBH may have limited control on what they cover.

Irish landlord: I'm only gonna rent to furriners..

I find this topic a bit ironic, because I work next to a college, and had to move into a new place within the last 2 weeks and we have 2 cats. Quite amazing the number of landlords who preferred renting to students then to 2 professionals with 2 house trained cats because they were afraid the cats would damage the furniture.

All the money she pays out for repairs are offset against her income tax

Does it not strike the caller that if he didn't ring up to whinge about this then there'd be even less publicity ? I'm sure people all over the world are in shock over the wearing of a wooly hat.
