Genuinely get the feeling we're not getting the full story here.

Aha, she re-mortgaged. I thought we weren't getting the full story.

I'm guessing we'll have tears shortly here.....

"And how much do you owe them Mary?"
    "A millun poun' Damo"
"And how much do you give them every month Mary?"
    "nuthin' Damo"
"Will I put on the kettle Mary?"
"Ah don't bother Damo....we'll go up to the Gorgeous Gort Cafe and have a couple of Americanos on the new decking, put on your hat Damo"

Kathy sounds like Fr. Fintan's sister.

"What do you get for your rates?"

Overpaid Councillors who like to go on junkets while waiting to get on to the real gravy trains of The Dail, The European Paliament or (for now) The Seanad.

What more could you want?;)

"something must be done".............you'll be waiting!

    Rachel Wyse....I'm interested!

"You opened the Daily Mail and what did you see?"

My guess would have been an article loosely based on Mein Kampf!

Just out of curiosity I checked the Dun Laoghaire annual report. Well - the latest annual report, the 2011 one...

Anyways it helpfully does not provide any breakdown of wages/expenses/junkets or any such nonsense that might lead to any level of transparency. Instead it has good broad titles such as "Housing and Building" (net cost3.7m) and Miscellaneous Services (net cost 13m).

Oooh Matron..."Rachel Wyse' and "helmet" in the same sentence. I'm getting mildly aroused......despite the Health & Safety talk from Miss British-person-forced-to-live-in-Eire.

This needs to be escalated via a stiff letter to the Irish Times.

If I was in Gort, I'd listen to LiveLine in the Gorgeous Gort Cafe, since the owner just paid me to make this (in)sincere endorsement.

  • Registered Users Posts: 53,028 ✭✭✭✭ButtersSuki

People travel to Gort JUST to go to the cafe. They do in their bollix.

Once again on Lahv Lahn we have people from counties far away from that of the story ringing in to offer support. Fock off the lot of ye.
