    There is something wrong with the system, when I, as an emigrant, cannot vote in general elections or referenda, but I, as a graduate, got a postal vote for the Seanad election, including a prepaid registered post envelope for France (ie about 6 euro worth of postage).

    I think the emotion people feel about getting rid of the seanad is the same emotion you have when your cleaning out your wardrobe and you notice a load of old shirts that you always say you'd wear but you never have.Finally you pluck up the courage to put them into your black refuge sack and so the cathartic experience commences:)

    This moaning by the self employed is annoying, they enjoyed a very generous expense system when they were working and were creaming it for long enough..its funny how the system is broken when people lose their bollox but when they are making a fortune there is nothing wrong with it.
