I do wonder how guys like that get on air, is it the researchers taking the piss amongst themselves? I mean 2 seconds in you could tell he was more than shall we say "slightly" bonkers.

I wouldn't rule out Momday's show having a "Memories of Myra" theme, starring Did-Gio and his lepper.

Janey, did ye hear that on the news?? Would you be that bothered about having to pay to change your flight when you're flying home to your family, all perished in a house fire???

That's actually not a bad idea Lapin. Can't do today....or the next 2 weeks as I'm away, but we should look at arranging a Lahv Lahn Thread Beers evening. obviously, in true Lahv Lahn style, invitations will only be offered to those in the Dubalin area. :D

I think we are on to something here.

There are enough of us Liveline Sufferers around at this stage to hook up for a jar !

I'm not usually in the Dublin area myself. Heading there now for culture night - I have a tour of Leinster House booked and I ain't leaving the place unless I get a pint in the Dáil Bar :) - I also want to see the Seanad before it closes for business !

But if we're on for a Liveline Beers Night, I'm cool with Dublin.

As long as its not in Ballyfermot or Clontarf. ;)

The consultant neurologist working in The Mater(iirc) who's family died in the house fire in Leicester last week, was charged through the nose by a Ryanair employee to change his flight back home.
A stunning PR disaster, but sure, aren't they all, and O'Bleary was quick to capitalise on this by issuing an apology for it, and making it out to be some sort of good-guy act.
