Instead of buying your house now, why don't I just wait until the bank sell off the house?

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,314 ✭✭✭Bobby42

So he's looking for 160,000 euro and in return, if he cant pay you back, you get the house once he and wife have died.

    Eh, how about no?

This caller reminded me of the old one about the Rabbi who won the Lotto.

His wife said to him..."Ben, what about the begging letters?"

    "Keep sending 'em" he says.

(You can have that for free Syl :D )

Jays, this guy is happiness personified!

What was that item on the Na1 about?

Some interview with a man in New Zealand being told by the government he is too fat.... I only caught that part.
The NZ authorites reckoned he was a potential liability with his diabetes and other overweight complications. He is only 20st; OK, too heavy but hardly super-obese. If they're going to get ****ty, they should have given him a timeframe to shed a couple of stones - say, a year.

This fella doesn't know much about eating cheaply!
Cheaper to buy pasta/rice, tins of tuna and tins of tomatoes.
And porridge is cheaper than Weetabix.

you would be amazed how many people did that to help their kids get gaffs during the boom.

the banks had NO business doing it, its blatantly bad practice.

so of couse they did it like coke addicts at a party.
