Argh, did you pray with them ? It must have been a boost for them to see you ? Joe really over estimates the church.

Joe- "They were forced"...how do you know that Joe? More precisely I'd say they're sticking to the line "If you're caught say you were forced"......ffs, only Joe would buy that by the sound of him.

Oh beautiful...."did you pray with them?" :(

Ah , they must be good people cos they are religious , have to be !!

Its just impossible for a religious person to do anything bad...

Oh they're both Catholic families. Well, release them now then.

    Did you pray with them?

I'm actually wondering who is more naive between Joe and Father Innocent when it comes to drugs.

It was actually hilarious, he basically said "well that contradicts what the local Irish priest said so we don't believe you".

First story on Lahv Lahn too, I can see this being impartial!

haha yeah followed by a stumbled "Err eh we will leave this story now as there seems to be no interest in it".

Just read that the two girls hadn't even checked in so could be more to it, on the other hand what were they doing in Lima in the first place.

Obviously they're innocent just because one of them is Irish.

I don't get why this is getting so much media coverage at all.
Maybe if they had been convicted and facing execution but they were only stopped in Customs and detained for a week so far.

They're percieved to be "innocent" and this is getting a lot of media attention because the Irish one is seriously good looking, has plenty of modelling photos and one with a tight white top showing off a decent rack to boot. If she was fat, spotty, greasy haired, ugly and from the council estates of Limerick there's be feck all heard about her.

As regards her innocence or guilt I'm not saying anything as she is entitled to a fair trial, but it doesn't look good for them.

Bad enough being banged up abroad in a strange place, but when the first person you meet is an Irish priest things could not get any possibly worse.
