Heaven forbid that anyone should try that.
They should look on their time at the laundry and industrial school as a character forming experience, I've no doubt. As we all know the State was doing them a huge favour, spending money on all that bread and water and army blankets for them.

Yet another politician who happens to know the Geoghegan family very well.

    Why should this matter?

How well does he know the Dundon's?

Amazing the sort of people ringing up Liveline today. I wonder how that American priest based in Peru got the telephone number for the show? And then we had Paul Williams and Niall Collins ringing in as well. Amazing. The callers really do dictate the show's content

    "The system actually works"..

Dundon, through free legal aid on the money of all decent people, appealed this to every court in the land costing us all a fortune... He arrived in court in jocks, to try to get the case delayed, fire his council to get the case delayed... And he has a solicitor that seem to be confident of getting him off on appeal..

    The system works?

Wrong on every count......she was not in and industrial school or laundry and she didn't mention anything about bread and water or army blankets. Get your facts right before posting.

Oh get him off Joe, once you get this "sports-mad" line you know you're dealing with a spoofer.

Unfortunately, as he's an FF one, Joe will give him all the gasbag time he wants.

    Jesus Christ Joe.

He's talking liKe visiting Limerick 5 years ago was akin to being in the West Bank.

I have NEVER felt in Limerick the intimidation ad uneasiness I encountered in Your own Dubaleen city centre Joe.

Well, quit moaning about people who have a fair right of redress for abuse inflicted by institutions.
