Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

How long do they have that position for? Why is there such a low profile of this position? What qualifications do you need to have…

Sheriff's are responsible for collecting debts owed from court judgements and Revenue. They appointed by the Minister for Justice and are generally qualified solicitors. In Dublin and Cork the Sheriff also oversees elections and the management of balloting. Their profile is low mainly because nobody ever hears of them unless they have a debt that remains unpaid

The Galway Sheriff is Padraig Brennan.
