Buying a house that needs renovating. Will need to change all the windows as they are not double glazed. Do I need planning permission? Also, if I want to take out a window and put in patio doors do I need planning for this? Thanks in advance for any responses!

If the house is a protected structure, within the curtilage of a protected structure, listed street, conservation area, etc., you will need planning permission.
Also, if I want to take out a window and put in patio doors do I need planning for this?
If it is o the rear of the house, you may not need planning permission, but this depends on a variety of issues.
