Another recommendation for Remis, but also take a look at Joe Myler and Robert Litcan.

Tomash B aswell hasn't got many portrait in his portfolio but he certainly has the skill for them.

When someone starts pushing towards a particular artist in this fashion, I am sure you can appreciate how this can look like someone doing a spot of shameless self promotion, or shilling.

Where's his portfolio then?? You've no idea about this guy, no link to his portfolio... He has no online presence whatsoever which is unusual for a "good" tattoo artist.

Stephen Kennedy is based out of Galway and has a name for nice portraits - you can find them under Galway Bay Tattoo on fb. Waiting list is 6-8weeks at the moment
I've been tattooed by him (not portraits) and imo he's very conscientious about his work.

Remis has left Ireland to go traveling much like he did the year before but he will be back in 2014 , which is no problem really because if he was here you would probably still be waiting that long to get an appointment anyway.
