Noisy Motorbikes in the city centre

Just wondering about local authority regulations or laws in relation to extremely noisy motorbikes revving up while going through apartment areas in Dublin or anywhere else for that matter. Somehow I cannot imagine they should be allowed. Even with earplugs and secondary glazing in my flat they wake me up.:mad:

there would be no way to police that. Besides it's one of those things you have to put up with if you live in a city. However i do find that Dublin and Ireland need to catch up with more soundproofed windows
